One Sengkang Mall, also known as 1 Sengkang Mall, is a shopping mall in Singapore, located in Sengkang New Town. This mall was originally known as Compass Point, and it opened for business in 2002. Compass Point closed in October 2015 to undergo renovations. When the mall reopens in late 2016, it will be known as One Sengkang Mall. The developers held a contest to choose a new name for the mall, and the woman who helped name it One Sengkang Mall received a cash prize.
One Sengkang Mall Frasers Centrepoint
This mall is easily accessible through public transportation. It was the first large-scale mall to open near the North East MRT Line. Compass Heights condominiums are located directly above the mall, so it is easily accessible for those who live there.
One Sengkang Mall is more than just a shopping experience. The mall is themed around the idea of education and learning. This theme was evident in the decor, names of the retail spaces and special events. The decor includes a large and elaborate tile floor mural depicting geography and different views of a globe. They also display posters and other decor with education facts from them.

This shopping centre has four storeys, plus a basement. Each storey of the mall is named and themed after a different continent: Oceania, Asia, Europe, America and Africa. Stores and services available at One Sengkang Mall include a library and multiple restaurants. Some chain restaurants, such as McDonald’s and Starbucks, are included to give the mall a familiar feel. In the past, the mall has hosted popular events such as road show dramas.
Though the temporary closure of the mall as it transforms from Compass Point into One Sengkang Mall may be an inconvenience, the renovations will add many updates and improvements for all of the customers to use and enjoy.
